Group Breaks in Peak District

Delve further north into the National Park and discover a world of ‘showcaves’, where the famous Blue John stone is mined. The tourist centre of Castleton and the spa town of Buxton are the gateway to these fascinating caves with stories to tell and with caves to suit all sizes of groups.

Back on the surface of the Peak District discover the High Peak with a memorable journey over the Snake Pass, traversing the National Park between Kinder Scout and Bleaklow Hill and reaching the waters of Ladybower Reservoir – practice waters for the Dambusters crews in World War II.

Enjoy the famous puddings of Bakewell or the antique shops of Matlock and Matlock Bath or perhaps visit the stately homes that adorn the countryside – Chatsworth House of course being the most popular and prominent but others such as Haddon Hall are worth considering.
