The Chrich Tramway Museum:
The Chrich Tramway Museum takes a journey through the history of trams, taking in horse, steam and electric trams, in the gardens there is a sculpture trail and enjoy breath-taking views.
The Peak Rail from Rowsley to Matlock:
Whether it’s simply a nostalgic journey back to a bygone age or a discovery of the sights and sounds the Peak Rail welcomes you to experience the thrill of our preserved railway whilst travelling through the delightful Derbyshire countryside. This heritage steam and diesel line runs for 4 miles between Matlock and Rowsley South.
The Heights of Abraham:
Take a cable car ride over deep limestone gorge in the Peak District. The Heights of Abraham Country park is set in 60 acres of woodland. The cable car ticket gives you a free right of way over the hilltop park including two guided tours through illuminated caverns, exhibitions, magnificent view.
Haddon Hall:
Haddon Hall in Bakewell is a stately home and has a Tudor Hall and Elizabethan walled gardens that are a rare survival of the 16th century. With nine hundred years of history, it is one of the oldest houses in the country and moreover one of the only houses in England to have remained in one family's ownership for its entire existence.
Castleton:
Castleton is a beautiful village situated at the head of the Hope Valley in the heart of the Peak District National Park. There’s plenty to do here including show caves, Winnats Pass, Cave Dale and for those wishing to walk on the numerous footpaths in the area.
Ladybower Reservoir:
Ladybower Reservoir is a large Y-shaped reservoir in the Upper Derwent Valley, at the heart of the Peak District National Park surrounded by stunning countryside with views of water, woodland and magnificent moorland.
