The region of Torbay, surrounding Torquay, is one of England’s finest for attractions from vintage steam railways to river cruises, maritime history in Dartmouth to tales of Agatha Christie at Greenway. Venture further afield and the Dorset resorts of Seaton and Sidmouth are reachable, as is a day excursion to the Eden Project.
