RHS Garden Hyde Hall with buffet lunch:
RHS Garden Hyde Hall is one of the finest gardens in the East of England, enjoy stunning panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
There is a vegetable garden, a dry garden with a range of drought-resistant plants, and herbaceous borders and lush green lawns. Our visit also includes a buffet lunch.
Colchester guided tour with castle & museum:
Britain's oldest recorded town, Colchester is noted for its Victorian architecture. Significant landmarks include the Colchester Town Hall and the Jumbo Water Tower on this tour we include a guided tour including the castle and museum.
Tiptree Jam tour:
The Tiptree Jam Museum holds the John Wilkin Collection and pays tribute to the history of Wilkin & Sons and Tiptree preserves. Inside, the factory processes soft fruit including medlars, mulberries, quince, plums, loganberries, and the famous Little Scarlet Strawberry which are grown on the 1000-acre Tiptree estate. There factory is also like a museum as it has buildings of the Model Farm by John Mechi who originally developed the estate.
Cruise to Chatham Dockyards:
Board the boat from Southend Pier and take a calm cruise to Chatham Dockyards, where points of interest are highlighted on the route including seals, porpoises and the many ship wrecks then enjoy time explore the dockyard.
Call the Midwife tour:
The Historic Dockyards of Chatham, the setting for the popular TV programme Call the Midwife. This walking tour is led by your very own costumed midwife and revealing the filming locations including the cobbled streets and buildings of 'Poplar' plus iconic locations as well exhibitions of sets props and costumes.
