National Trust Charlecote Park:
A grand 16th-century country house between Stratford and Warwick, surrounded by its own deer park and on the banks of the River Avon, it was also once visited by Elizabeth the 1st. The relaxed gardens created by Mary-Elizabeth Lucy. Includes ancient cedar trees, flower borders, and a parterre overlooking the river.
Warwick Castle:
Once a wooden fort built by William the Conqueror during 1068 Warwick castle was rebuilt the 12th century into the medieval castle that stands today. Warwick Castle brings you Britain's ultimate historical experience with over 200 special event days throughout the year. The kingmaker experience takes you on a journey through the preparations for battle in medieval England.
Stratford-upon Avon:
The birthplace and burial place of playwright and poet William Shakespeare, Stratford-upon-Avon is a medieval market town full of half-timbered houses located on the picturesque banks of the River Avon.
National Trust Hidcote Gardens:
National Trust Hidcote is a world-famous garden located in the north Cotswolds, and close to Stratford-upon-Avon. Created by Major Lawrence Johnston the garden is full of colour, with a wonderful maze of narrow paved pathways, a secret garden, magnificent vistas and plants from around the world, meander through the intricate gardens and into the wilderness.
Cream of the Cotswolds Tour:
On the cream of the Cotswolds tour we head into the lush meadows and honey coloured stone villages of the Cotswolds where this wonderful scenic tour takes in some of the most perfect picture-postcard villages of middle England. First to Moreton-in-Marsh where there is an opportunity to explore the huge Tuesday market, a celebrated weekly event, which takes over the High Street. We then arrive at Stow-on-the-Wold, where there is time to explore the ancient market square surrounded by dozens of independent antique shops. We conclude the day in Bourton-on-the-Water, a renowned Cotswold village with the little River Windrush flowing beneath tiny humpback bridges.
