These excursions are simply suggestions based on previous river cruises that just for groups! have organised. Our tailor-made group tours are created on an individual, bespoke basis to match your groups personal requirements regarding duration, locations and excursions.

Day 1

From local joining points we head across the Channel and onwards to Antwerp to board the MS Europe in time for cocktails and dinner.

Day 2

A day of cruising across the inland seas and locks of Holland to reach the busy port of Rotterdam. This evening includes a gala dinner on board.

Day 3

This morning we travel by coach to the world famous Keukenhof Gardens. Here there is time to stroll around the park and explore amazing displays of spring flowers exhibited in the extensive grounds and indoor pavilions. We re-join our ship in Amsterdam. This evening we include a cruise of Amsterdam by night along its famous canals.

Day 4

This morning we include a guided tour of Amsterdam and its famous diamond merchants. After lunch we make our way to pretty Volendam, characterised by its small houses and drawbridges over the canals, and retaining its strong fishing links. From here we make our way to Zaanse Schans, a traditional Dutch experience with a working community dating back to the 18th century.

Day 5

After breakfast we disembark and make our way back to Calais for our return crossing and homeward bound.

Named after the “Old Continent” and symbol of unity, the MS Europe is an elegant standard ship that sails on the Rhine and the Danube, meeting the many wonders offered by these two romantic rivers. This elegant vessel has 90 cabins across three decks and was fully renovated in 2016. It has a restaurant and lounge bar with dance floor on the main deck and a large sun deck with sun loungers with a large shaded area up above.

The size of each cabin is between 9m2 to 13m2 offering amenities and providing guests with all the comforts they need during their stay. The chocolate, beige and orange tones of its chic and contemporary decoration give it a warm, elegant and welcoming atmosphere.

Dinner in Spain may be accompanied by a guitar player from the region. A classical string quartet could come aboard in Germany, or an entrancing fado singer in Portugal. Or simply do nothing except relax to some light music in the lounge; there’s never an obligation to join in.
