Group Breaks in York

York has some of the best preserved medieval city walls in the UK, and visitors are able to take a leisurely step back in time with a stroll around either some or all of the 3.4km trail, which offers a chance to see the city from a different vantage point.

If shopping is up your alley, York has much to offer, and The Shambles is definitely worth a visit. This award-winning narrow cobbled street originally housed butcher shops, but is now decorated with stunning boutiques, cute little shops, and well-known high street stores. It is no wonder it is one of the most photographed streets in England.

York Minster takes centre stage with its breathtaking 13th Century architecture, elegant magnesian limestone and medieval stained glass windows, and it has been a sacred place of worship for over a thousand years.
