Group Breaks in Cornwall
The warmth of the Gulf Stream gives Cornwall an almost subtropical climate, creating wonderful gardens such as the Lost Gardens of Heligan and Trebah, while the ever-popular Eden Project, with its iconic biomes provide a horticultural delight from around the world.
Perhaps visit Falmouth with its rich maritime heritage (and hope to the National Maritime Museum), Port Isaac – well know as Doc Martin’s “Portwenn, or to Charlestown with its ancient port and collection of old ships.
Follow the stories across Bodmin Moor, to Jamaica Inn, immortalised by Daphne du Maurier’s novel or to the recently opened Bodmin Jail – one of the most remote in England. And for food fans Padstow is a must with its many associations with Rick Stein.
